1. Acceptance and eligibility
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form an agreement between you and RasterLift for use of the RasterLift website, account area, document-processing workspace, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, and legally able to enter this agreement. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that organization, and "you" includes the organization.
2. The RasterLift service
RasterLift is a document-conversion and review tool for bank and credit-card statements. The core workflow lets an authenticated user upload a supported document, run OCR and transaction extraction, review and edit normalized rows, and download CSV or Excel output. RasterLift is not accounting software, a bank, a record-keeping archive, or a provider of legal, tax, accounting, investment, or financial advice.
Supported formats, file-size limits, maximum pages per file, features, and plan allowances are described in the Service and may change as the product develops. Current limits shown before upload or purchase form part of these Terms.
3. Accounts and security
- Provide accurate, current account and billing information.
- Keep login credentials and access to your email account secure.
- Do not share an account in a way that defeats plan limits or gives unauthorized people access to sensitive documents.
- Notify support@rasterlift.com promptly about suspected unauthorized use or a security incident involving your account.
You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by RasterLift's failure to use reasonable security. Account deletion is handled through support. Deleting an account does not automatically reverse completed charges or remove records that must be retained by RasterLift or Creem for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, or dispute purposes.
4. Your documents and data
You retain your rights in documents and data you upload or create. You grant RasterLift and its service providers a limited, non-exclusive right to host, transmit, validate, process, reproduce, and format that content only as necessary to provide, secure, support, and improve the reliability of the Service, comply with law, and enforce these Terms. This permission ends when the content is deleted, subject to limited backups and legally required records.
You confirm that:
- you own the documents or have all permissions required to upload and process them;
- processing them through RasterLift does not violate confidentiality, privacy, banking, employment, contractual, or other obligations;
- you will not upload malware, unlawful material, or documents for which you lack authorization; and
- you will download and preserve any records you need before their scheduled deletion.
Original uploaded files are read-only within RasterLift and are scheduled for automatic deletion after 24 hours. RasterLift is not a permanent repository or backup service.
5. OCR accuracy and user review
OCR and automated parsing can produce missing, duplicated, misclassified, or incorrect dates, descriptions, amounts, balances, page references, summaries, and review flags. Results vary with file quality, scan quality, statement layout, language, and provider availability.
You must review and verify every material value against the original statement before relying on, sharing, importing, or submitting an export. You are responsible for corrections and for how you use the output. RasterLift does not guarantee that extracted data or calculated summaries are complete, accurate, or suitable for tax, audit, lending, compliance, accounting, or legal purposes.
6. Plans, quotas, and usage
The Free plan currently includes five OCR pages for the lifetime of the account, subject to a daily limit of five pages. Paid plans include the monthly page allowance and price displayed on the Pricing page and at checkout. One processed PDF page counts as one OCR page.
- Paid page allowances reset at the start of each billing period and do not roll over unless the Service explicitly says otherwise.
- Failed work that never completes may be released from reserved usage, while successfully processed pages count even if you later delete the document.
- Unused quota has no cash value and cannot be transferred, resold, or combined across accounts.
- Creating multiple accounts or using automation to evade free or paid limits is prohibited.
7. Billing and merchant of record
Creem acts as merchant of record for paid RasterLift subscriptions. Creem processes payment methods, applicable taxes, receipts, invoices, refunds, and payment disputes. Creem's checkout terms and privacy notice also apply to information and payments you submit to it.
Paid plans are recurring monthly subscriptions unless checkout clearly states otherwise. By purchasing, you authorize Creem to charge the displayed price, applicable taxes, and any confirmed prorated plan-change amount to your selected payment method at checkout and each renewal until cancellation. Prices and currency are displayed before you confirm payment. You are responsible for keeping payment information current and for any taxes you are legally required to pay that are not collected at checkout.
If payment fails or a subscription becomes past due, RasterLift may retry synchronization, limit paid functionality, or return the account to the Free plan after any provider grace period. Billing records from Creem control when they conflict with a temporarily stale display in RasterLift.
8. Upgrades, downgrades, and cancellation
- Upgrades: take effect immediately after Creem confirms the change. Creem calculates and charges the prorated difference for the remaining billing period, and the new quota becomes available after confirmation.
- Downgrades: are scheduled for the end of the current billing period. Your current plan and quota remain active until then, with no immediate refund for the price difference. A scheduled downgrade can be cancelled before it takes effect when that option is available in Billing.
- Cancellation: can be scheduled through RasterLift Billing or the secure Creem customer portal. Cancellation stops future renewals but normally leaves the paid plan active until the current billing period ends.
Deleting documents or ceasing to use the Service does not cancel a subscription. If the portal is unavailable, email support@rasterlift.comfrom the account address before the renewal date. We cannot guarantee cancellation before a charge if the request arrives after processing for that renewal has begun.
9. Refund policy
Except where applicable law requires otherwise, subscription fees, renewals, and prorated upgrade charges are non-refundable after the associated paid OCR allowance has been used. The following limited refund policy applies:
- You may request a full refund of your first paid subscription charge within 14 calendar days after purchase if no pages from the paid allowance have been processed.
- Duplicate or incorrect charges and material technical failures attributable to RasterLift will be reviewed individually. Contact us promptly and no later than 30 days after the charge.
- Renewal and upgrade charges are generally non-refundable once processed, except for duplicate or incorrect charges, qualifying service failure, or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Send requests to support@rasterlift.com from the email tied to the account and include the Creem order or invoice reference. Do not email card details or bank statements. Cancelling a subscription does not by itself request a refund. Approved refunds are issued by Creem to the original payment method; bank processing times may vary. A full refund may immediately revoke the related paid quota and return the account to the Free plan.
10. Acceptable use
You must not use RasterLift to:
- break any law or infringe another person's rights;
- process stolen, unlawfully obtained, or unauthorized financial records;
- upload malware or attempt to access another user's account, files, data, or subscription;
- bypass authentication, rate limits, quotas, payment controls, file validation, retention controls, or security measures;
- probe, reverse engineer, scrape, overload, disrupt, or resell the Service except where a restriction is prohibited by law; or
- use the Service to make fully automated financial, credit, employment, insurance, legal, or other high-impact decisions about a person without independent review and lawful authority.
11. Third-party services
RasterLift relies on third-party services, including Supabase, Vercel, Mistral AI, Creem, and Resend. Optional public-page analytics and live chat may use Microsoft Clarity, Google Analytics 4, and tawk.to after consent. RasterLift is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mistral AI. Third- party provider availability, security, and processing are also governed by their own terms and policies.
RasterLift is not responsible for a third-party website, checkout, portal, or service outside its reasonable control. Where a provider interruption affects the Service, we will make reasonable efforts to restore or provide an alternative workflow but do not guarantee a specific recovery time.
12. Ownership and feedback
RasterLift and its licensors own the Service, software, design, branding, documentation, and all related intellectual-property rights, excluding your documents and data. Subject to these Terms, RasterLift gives you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your own lawful internal or business purposes.
If you voluntarily provide product feedback, you allow RasterLift to use it without restriction or payment, provided we do not publicly identify you or disclose confidential document data without permission.
13. Availability and service changes
RasterLift is an evolving service. We may maintain, update, add, remove, or change functionality, providers, limits, or prices. We will provide reasonable advance notice of material price changes affecting future renewals when required. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance, but you may cancel before the next renewal if you do not agree to a subscription change.
We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Scheduled maintenance, security incidents, provider outages, legal requirements, and events beyond reasonable control may temporarily limit the Service.
14. Suspension and termination
You may stop using RasterLift at any time, subject to the separate cancellation steps for a paid subscription. RasterLift may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary for security, suspected fraud, non-payment, material breach, unlawful activity, harm to users or providers, or legal compliance. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue.
After termination, rights to use the Service end. Provisions that by their nature should survive—including payment obligations, ownership, disclaimers, limitations, dispute terms, and lawful data retention—continue to apply.
15. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." RasterLift disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RasterLift will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, or anticipated savings; or loss arising from unreviewed OCR output, failure to keep a separate copy of documents, unauthorized account access caused by you, or third-party services outside our reasonable control.
RasterLift's aggregate liability arising from the Service will not exceed the greater of USD 100 or the amount you paid for RasterLift during the three months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited.
16. Disputes and governing terms
Before filing a formal claim, contact support@rasterlift.com and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue informally. These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the RasterLift operator, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections and any court jurisdiction that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
If any provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; RasterLift may assign them as part of a reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, or transfer of the Service.
17. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as the Service or law changes. The effective date at the top will be revised. Material changes may also be communicated through the Service or by email. Changes apply prospectively unless law requires otherwise.
For support, cancellation, refund requests, billing questions, data deletion, or legal notices, email support@rasterlift.com. Please include the email associated with your account and a concise description, but do not send passwords, full payment-card information, or bank-statement contents by email.
